I recieved more than 500 notitifications that guestbook-entries are to be moderated. None of them were non-SPAM. So I closed the guestbook temporarily.
]]>First, I did something I would have thought to be impossible 2 or 3 months ago. There was a wedding in SL and I wasn’t just a guest, no I was DJ and helped the brides a little wit some items from my inventory.
Then, there was this guy with a gallery in SL, my next bigger photo project already has a place to be shown in.
Today Miefmupfel Willis asked me to participate in a expo in her mall. They give us a topic and we will make the photos. Great.
But also today there was this blog entry from Les Ateliers Du Parfum mentioning a specific song I played at the wedding for one of the brides and bringing all those small sparks together: Astrud Gilberto and Stan Getz with The Girl from Ipanema.

Here is the most perfect photograph of this project although it wasn’t that complex from the technical point of view: Just three layers, no big corrections of colors, but the composition is almost perfect. Thank you, Lunde, it was big fun taking the shots, you are a very creative model. We will repeat this creative session in my next project, do we?
]]>This one is the most complex work I did. 27 objects (I use Corel Photopaint instead of Photoshop, in Photshop it would have been 27 layers) to put the avatars in, place their names on the numberplates, and let Leda sit in the car in a natural way. For Leda I even created a specific pose with QAvimator. Thank you and I’m looking forward to your wedding in 2 weeks!

Salome was very cooperative at this shot. But it was thin ice trying to put an avatar so plain and small at this place. But after I put the SLX-Logos insted ot the EC (Eurocheck) Logos she was found. I hope Salome will be one of my models for the next SL-project, too .
]]>Keira, Nadja, it was big fun doing this shot. They were glad for an opportunity to wear their venice-style dresses. But it was hard work to get them out of the hot Bits & Bobs kiss animation after I finished the pictures

For this picture I needed double luck and lots of avatar-shots. First, I wasn’t inspired where to put this beautiful lady from Switzerland. When I saw this little lake in a friend’s garden I remembered Rose to have a giant sea lilly in SL. The light was perfect, no chance to repeat this moment after I went home and got the cam. Lucky enough my cellphone has a 2 megapixel camera. That was my first lucky moment.
Then there was no chance to get her sitting on the ground without the prim-parts of her skirts vanishing in the ground - they are phantom. So we decided to let her do a club dance and I made lots of snapshots, more than 80. Just tone of them was good enough for this project. The others all had problems with arms or legs conflicting with the prim skirt or strange looking faces. Having found this pic in the tile of bad ones is my second lucky moment.

A little problem was caused by some griefers. Keira opened another club close to the Blue Moon at 18:00 CEST, 9:00 PDT, and someone managed to crash the sim several times, last time it was up again 15 minutes before I expected the first visitors.
But Keira managed to prevent further crashs. Too bad, that the table with champagner and a notecard dispenser disapeared. I had to recreate them on the fly with the help of Karen Ceawlin.
The feedback for the pictures was great.
The picture that was the best in my opinion be seen here with the mode in front of it.
